Back at work tomorrow… oh joyous
opportunity to compile a work
sheet, sign out old documents,
forget my old sorrow

Starting anew at work, greeting colleagues
returning from faraway, looking with
positive eyes at what the new year
is offering me

Live the fullness of every moment of
constructed time, ready to weave dreams
into the workaday world in such a
way we shall all gain

More joy, more light, more smiles and
happiness, hope for a better tomorrow;
living is fine, being alive is wunderbar,
as long as

We remember where the light shines -
it is shining in US!
