Few Would Know Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Few Would Know

Few would know,
What they've told all their lives...
To deceive.
Few would know.
To believe it.
Few would know.

And few would know,
The truth.
If...
Read to accept and see.
Few would know.
Few would know.
The truth.
Produced.
And believe it.
Few would know.
Few would know.
Few would know,
The truth.
And how they've been deceived.
Few would know.
The truth.
Produced.
And...
From it wished to leave.
Few would know.
Few would know.
Few would know,
And how it sets them free.
Few would know.
Few would know.
Few would know.
And those who do know truth,
Are among the free.
This they know.
That their minds are free.
With a truth that's kept,
From being deceived.
With a truth that's kept,
From being deceived.
And few would know this,
To notice...
What truth to believe it can be.
And few would know this,
Or notice...
Truth is deception free.
