My velvet hands tied
Finger by finger, lingering
Dainty roses flourish rich and
I stand slouched
These Feet tread along
Thorny red ally’s
My eyes rain ticklish
Filing punchy droughts
Yet I’m flustered
By the thought of disobedience
My sins sky high
Their almost as tall as me
If only if only
I let it go
I let go the world
And the worldly grow
I’m lead astray
Breathlessly I say
I’m ashamed
Yet it’s the devil
I blame for the flame
In which I burn invisible
Burning away
Shehtan the evil
Magnetized on me
How to I repel
Effortlessly?
I cry weeping
Silently
When the devil dances
Please let me break free
Ya Allah don’t’ let me be
Let me astray
Lead me to you
And your ways
