Fighting Gravity Poem by Loren Denny

Fighting Gravity

World sliding broken
faster flowing gravity
Sleepless at best
Predestined warned
Tumbled the likeness
To despondent in comedy
Topping last untrue
Forgetful is bliss
Reality barrier in dismiss
More me than you
Shattering Stars
Heats cold collide
Clearly in stride
With systemic cues
Shadowy works
Personal places
Memories in Murk
Can't remember so
Bested done wrong why
Entitled designs
The frequented woe
Tooled taken shape
Whittled mass's core
Feeding vast implore
Tomorrows at stake
With instrument purified
Relief of griefs places
Accepting delicate paces
Again okay to cry
