Finding Your Way Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Finding Your Way

The air is thick with conversation
as a boastful voice proclaims
to be the most important by far
when comparing or dropping names

Breathing in spent air of the experienced
Who is to be followed and believed...
Finding assurance from the light ahead
Perhaps an open heart won't be deceived

Arriving at a place where all is calm
Within a presence…. alone with God
Recognizing wrongfulness… mending
ills … unobstructed by a contrived facade
