Fire Dancer Poem by Young Heart

Fire Dancer

venomous glares in her direction
her dirty hands on the pavement
her tears a common occasion.
and yet she's just a child
a child amongst thousands
and thousands within millions
with their feet above embers
head raised over the ashes
in the fire they dance
and in the rain they sing
till the warmth of heaven.
