Attempting to go back and improve
some of my earlier work, I suddenly
realized that poems are like our children:
you love them just the way they are,
even if you know they’ll never be a doctor.
I had a chuckle at this one, Lori, I must admit one can get very attached to ones poems, I suppose they are the fruits of our labour. Sincerely Ernestine
