My first time out from the kzn
kzn my province... wait correction
The first time out from kzn,
kzn where I live, and that's the province.
I thought I was never gonna go there
yet my dream still was to travel
traveling, going places, overseas
now that I got a chance to Capetown
It is a dream come true.
First time out, all is a start
First time on an airplane
First time leaving my family
First time to Capetown
The start of the trip
New friends, new clothes
New people, new places
Fresh start, new outcomes
I miss home, I'm enjoying
I miss friends, I've got new
I miss my hometown but
The mother city feels great
Cool air, nice trees
miss home is it a trip or dream
think again mom calls
how are you? put your jersey on.
wonder how she saw the weather...
now I feel cold, always cold she says
nice sea, could stay a whole year
but I miss home, miss friends
this is my first in Capetown
Every girl is chilling, enjoying
I miss home, I miss friends
I got a friend now wish I haven't
why? bcs I love her to take her home
now that's a sweet love I think.
now my days in Capetown are done
went to the beach, went to the table mountain
My first time there and made memories
wish to come back again, guess taking along who
My family, since they called me 24hrs
My trip to Capetown wont ever forget
cant wait to get back home, to what?
I've missed them a lot, cant wait...
to tell them about my lovely trip and
the next day we all go.
I love the excitement in the poem that is alternated with the missing of freinds and family. I felt exactly like that when I moved from my home country to Malaysia. Thanks to the internet we now can follow our dreams and our calling and still stay in close contact with our friens and family. If you manage to bring your family with you, that is great. Excellent poem, provoking a lot of memories and feelings in me.
