Fish Poem by Philip Bemelman

Fish

So many fish around the world,
deep in the water green and swirled.

Some with fins in many places,
others with teeth and nasty faces.

Some love salt others sweet,
thankfully destined to never meet.

Sometimes the hunter, sometimes the prey,
most are coloured while others are grey.

Some near the surface others deep below,
some like the darkness while others glow.

Some swim alone, some in a school,
so many things that make fish cool.
