Flash In The Pan Poem by ART PAUL SCHLOSSER

Flash In The Pan

Rating: 5.0

Flash in the pan
You thought it was grand
But it was all just sand
A flash in the pan

Sure it seemed like Shazam
A grand slam
You had it in the can
But it was just a Flash in the pan

And when all fans
Left the stands
You couldn't understand
That your hit was just a flash in the pan

Flash in the pan
And now you're an old man
Without a hand
Or a place to stand
