Friendship Poem by ART PAUL SCHLOSSER

Friendship

Friends they get so close
Then they get so busy
Leaving you so lonely
You feel your living in misery

Sometimes they don't understand
That you have needs to
I guess your friends can sometimes be selfish
It makes you sing the blues

But if you beg them to come over
They'll love you less for begging them
Which proves you really don't have control
If you really truly want them to be your friend

They call you when your busy
And their busy when your not
One will say use a pan
Another one will say use a pot

But if you got some real friends
Be thankful for their are people that do not
Yes I am saying in this poem
Be thankful for the friends you've got
