Marigolds heaped in joyous confusion,
Scattered fern like fine green lace;
White Champa piled in fine profusion,
like baskets brimming... icing glace.
Fragrance fills the morning air,
with Jasmine lilting on the breeze;
Ladies braiding in their hair,
Mogra buds with homespun ease.
Temple garlands in simplicity,
sway in fervent harmony;
While wreaths of Roses implicitly,
bloom and blush, yet tenderly.
When God made flowers, He must've thought,
"This day is good! What joy I've wrought! "
