Flowing Thoughts Poem by Mariela Contreras

Flowing Thoughts

Rating: 2.0

Closing your eyes as your mind starts to wonder off
A warmth of creativity begins to form a home.
Your head is starting to race, as a smile fills your face
The everlasting mind of yours starts flowing
You can't make it stop,
Your concentrating so much on the diversity of your ideas
The people and objects don’t matter any more
The activities of others is now only a blur
It is just you who is experiencing ongoing ideas
Those ideas start moving like a stream with a far from home destination
As those thoughts continue to flow, you are starting to experience things that you have never dreamt of doing,
You are beginning to feel weak
Fear is taking control in your head, you are scared of failure
Your are full of worry
Worried that these thoughts will never be accepted
Worried that no one will be there to hold you
It is to late for fear to be controlled.
You are scared to step out of your comfort zone
The area that allows itself to shut down
Shutting down the places you do not want to encounter
Slowly you over come it
As you do so, you start to feel cold
An icy feeling takes over your body
As you begin to sweat, tears fall down your weak smile
Fear is no longer what frightens you,
It is excellence
You are scared of making those thoughts into dreams which find a way to reality
Your thoughts are now gathered inside a little room that over looks the world.
Only you are able to see
You speak whatever you desire
You hear what inspires you
Every body that didn’t matter are now the inspiration for your dreams
You have now stepped outside your comfort zone
The phenomenal moving stream is flowing into a large river
As your mind allows full confrontation with the universe
The river has touched an everlasting ocean.
An ocean only you have successfully reached.
The ocean that has finally reached excellence
Has made you successful.
