Fly-Away Bird Poem by Scarletto Michuru

Fly-Away Bird

Waterfalls and ocean pearls
A single feather to drift along
This heart with gardens to share
Roses, lilies and orchids in spare

This fly-away bird, has found a home.
In one's heart, with the odd most perfect atmosphere
This story to tell but to no listener,
A battle between love and lust,
Isn't that what keeps the spark?

Fire on ice, so it burns for no other
A give away heart to share with another
This given time to diamonds and pearls
Golden moments around the world

As time passes our symphony
I gave mine away, in exchange for something new
This circle of comfort and fear
To hide in the light, just to show you how much I care…
