Fond Vs Like Poem by Samuel Chung

Surely man should know of their own feelings
Surely man should understand their emotions
Yet how does man distinguish from being fond of, or liking?

Fond or Like, that is the question...

To like, is to want, this may be done subconsciously
To be fond of however, is to adore.

Fond or Like, that is the question...

To be in love though, is it to like or to be fond of?
if you love somebody, do you want them for personal gain?
or are you merely wanting them to be with you,
enjoying their company?

Fond and Like

The mixture of both,
results in a love of all seven colours
filled from top to bottom
to care about
to be subtle
yet to want them
to love them
to protect them

this results in the most amazing relationship ever

love is supposed to be beautiful
however if it is somehow
abused
mis felt
or any of the sort, pain is what you will find
for a messed up relationship in the beginning should never have begun,
but build a foundation of stone.
