Fool Yesterday Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Fool Yesterday

Rating: 5.0

I afforded to be fool yesterday
But tried to be wise and clever today
With the fear that some one should not call me fool
As I was very lazy and all the time remained cool

It is nature’s habit not to respond in hostile manner
The things need smooth handling and not fastened with spanner
If it is tightened with full strength and left with no scope
There is every chance hat it may fail or flop

We learn gradually from the past mistakes
It is grasped with little of intakes
Not everything is learnt over night
It takes time to prove wrong or right

We all know time is changing very fast
The chances are that it may threaten to last
We may have nothing on hand to defend
There will be little less to improve or amend

Old proverbs are of great importance
They are not written like that at once
It has stood the test of past successfully
They stand every word correct and truthfully

When there prevails uncertainty with calm
You should remains steadfast and firm
This will take you to the desired destination
Your ability to tackle it will never be put to question
