For A Beloved Neighbor Poem by Shalom Freedman

For A Beloved Neighbor

Rating: 5.0

I saw a woman supposedly still alive
With death already in her eyes
I knew her when she was
A kindly smiling human being
Now she is suffering and screaming
And only her helper
Perhaps knows what she means
