For Every... Poem by Christine Lockehart

For Every...

Rating: 5.0

Ensnared by the traps of reality,
Distracted by the aspects of daily life
We hardly recognize the sheer beauty all around us
We take for granted who and what we shouldn't

For every breath, a precious life is lost
For every blink, a new life is born
For every smile, there are tears
For every laugh, there is a scream
For every thought, there is a dream
For every poem, there is someone in need of hope, inspiration, empathy, and love.
