For Ice-Cream Lovers Poem by Walterrean Salley

For Ice-Cream Lovers

Rarely does one not like ice cream
Strawberry, vanilla, chocolate- more.
The cone. The sandwich. And the bar.
Homemade or bought from the store.

Check out the fave banana split
Or the apple pie ala mode.
The tasty chocolate sundae is
Remembered in this ice-cream ode.

There are many ice cream flavors:
Blueberry, peach and coffee too.
Lime, orange, cherry. Butter pecan;
Whatever is uniquely you.

And let me be the first to say
‘Happy National Ice Cream Day.'
