Too my little girl....

From the moment I knew, I loved you,
I'd watch you grow every day, I loved you,
The drive I had was all there because I loved you,
All the struggle was worth it because I loved you.

The day came that an angel would enter this world as mine,
Waiting and waiting with your mum, kept checking the time,
I was there for you both, thick and thin,
I held mums hand to help her keep up her chin.

Then you came, you where handed into my arms, small, beautiful,
My heart leapt for joy, my shoulders raised, it was all worth it in the end,
We walked to mummy who was very tiered but wanted to see you,
We both cried at the angel before us and that day promised we are both there for you.

It was hard, it was tough but with you in our lives we pulled through,
Mum and Daddy never stopped loving you, because with you we pulled through,
Never a day went by that we did not stop, doing what it takes for you,
At the end of every day we would pick you up and say we love you.

Daddy never gave up on you but times where hard and long,
All he wanted was to come home and sing you a song,
One of hope, one of joy, but alas it was not meant to be,
Instead he would cradle you and say, I'm sorry this is not what I wanted it to be.

Not a day goes by that I do not love you, that I miss you,
Even though daddy is not there right now, he loves you,
In my heart and soul every day and night all I want is to hold you tight,
Sleep well my princess daddy will protect you, because even after all this he LOVES YOU.

I will always miss your smile, miss your little giggle,
You will always be my little angel form heaven,
I will never forget the moments I had with you,
I want you to be strong, I want you to be brave,
I love you and always will...
