Things change, relations change
Attachments are made,
Attachments are broken
We smile, we cry
Love arrives, love leaves
Love enters our souls, blossoms
And one day, die
And you are told to move on,
To forget someone whom you so dearly love,
Is it so easy to move on?
Is it so easy to delete all those memories?
So easy to feel unfeel what once I felt?
And to unlove someone whom you so dearly love?
Is it so easy?
No, it is not,
For the path ahead is that of pain,
Of sufferings, of guilt, of hatred,
The path ahead is inevitable,
And you must walk alone,
You will find companions in the way,
But no one will walk with you all through,
Bear the pain, face the sufferings,
But do not walk away for you will get stuck,
Feel the pain, live the sufferings,
For they are the path to your rejuvenation,
For they are the path to your soul.
