if i had been aboard oddyseus's battered ship,
i too would have been curious of just what,
was in the bag he held so close to his sleeping,
heaving heavy chest.
for only the chess piece hero,
would ever return to his sought after wife,
every other poor fate ridden soldier and sailor,
would end up early in the underworld.
after surviving the witch calyspo.
and surviving the hunger of the cyclops,
after figthing a ten year war,
for the face of a selfish women,
only then never reaching there home soil,
of course i would have gone for the bag,
if i had known of mine and the other fate,
they were merely seeking the riches,
they had sacrifcied there life for,
and rightly so,
so this is for those who chose,
to ignore the words of the wise one,
i salute you for your foolishness,
for you are just like i
