For Who And For Whom Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

For Who And For Whom

If someone committed treason.
(""" ") .
And to do to choose to lie.
(" """""")
If someone committed treason.
(""" ") .
Would you then give to them,
An alibi.
So they could hide and deny,
To be a traitor.
A rule and lawlessness hater.
And a conflict instigator.

If someone committed treason.
("""") .
That had your values jeopardized.
("""" ") .
Would you still remain supportive.
("""" ") .
Although your loyalty,
Was compromised.
And a quality of life,
Took a rapid nose dive.

For who and for whom,
Would someone do this?
And for what to get.
For who and for whom,
Would someone do this?
And with consciousness.

For who and for whom,
Would someone do this?
And be proud of it.
For who and for whom,
Would someone do this?
And be made a fool too!
