For you my love I give thanks
To God
For the blessings of new days
To say 'Hello' to you and see
You smile...
And have your hands caress me
With certainty!
For you my love I say
'Thank You Lord! '
For the laughter that spills
From my throat and heart when
We are together...
And for warm feelings that remain
When we say 'So Long' for just
A while.
I give thanks for the grace we
Say together;
For your positive 'Yes'
And your 'No! ' that means
Maybe!
