For you that I love
I would plunge myself into the deep unknown
and hope that love alone
would be enough to keep me afloat.
For I know that in this,
I do not know how to swim.
If I find I cannot float,
and come to be drowned
in somehthing I know nothing about
I will know that all is not lost.
For if I remain in this space I know
I would suffer the same fate.
All that would differ is that
I would know it was my tears that drowned me,
as a result of my constant fear.
I will throw aside my fear
and risk it all
for there is no real risk,
whether by my tears or the unknown
I know my fate.
but it does not matter becuse it would all be
for you that I love.

Very beautiful poem Stephanie. I agree with Allan. This really gives the sense of 'giving it all for love'. That's what we should do, isn't it? Very nice poem. Sincerely, Mary
