Foresight! Insight! Hindsight! Poem by Denis Martindale

Do we fall in love at first sight when we encounter Christ?
Or does love reach its highest height at all He sacrificed?
Or does that come some day or night before we get baptised?

How many blessings can we name beyond forgiven sins?
The King of Love once took the blame! That's how true love begins,
Yet wisdom must then be the aim of each lost soul Christ wins!

Foresight can be our God's intent for prophets called to preach,
Insight can be what our God meant that Bible studies teach,
Hindsight can be what our God sent, His precious gift to each.

You are more than you imagine! More than you claim to be!
Once God's good works in you begin, they bless your destiny!
Stand fast! Stand tall! Stand for what's right! Help people understand!
If you serve God with all your might, you'll love what God has planned!
