Forever is the time it takes me to catch my breath after your last kiss.
Forever is the how long your smile stays imprinted in my mind.
What is forever?

Forever is when I feel the warmth of your hand and the pulsating beat of your heart.
Forever is how long my heart will belong to you.
Could you tell me now what forever is?
Forever is the eternity that goes by when I’m not with you.
Forever is how long I am in pain when you’re not by my side.

How long is forever?
Forever to me is a day without your kiss, your warmth, your touch.
Forever to me is the moment you drive way to the instant you walk in my door.

Where is forever?
Forever is that place in the deep recesses of my heart that loves and cherishes every bit of your being.
Forever is the place that I go with you in my dreams when we are together always and never let go.
Forever is that scented, intoxicating, heaven of sorts that I go with you, when you reach a hand out to hold me.

What is forever, you say?
Forever is the billions of years that the stars and the moon illuminate the Earth.
Forever to me is the billions of years that my love will always burn and never die out.
Forever is the endless waterfall of sparkling tears that blur my eyes when that love overpowers me.
Forever is the blazing heat that burns within me and which of none but you my dear can extinguish.
Forever is the insatiable thirst that plagues me until you bring water to my waiting lips.

Tell me my dear, what is forever?
Forever is what I seem to wait to hear your voice again.
Forever is my love growing and growing and my heart it’s patient gardener.
Forever is the coolness that sweeps over me when you say, “I love you.”
Forever is the sun that rises in my heart when you smile at me.
Forever is the eclipse when your frown at me.
Forever is the constant thought of my love when he is absent from my presence.

Now, can you explain forever to me?
Forever in my words is the stretch of time that we stay intertwined and hot as the flames of a fire.
Forever is the centuries that I endure until I’m back in your arms again.
Forever is the lonely nights that I reach for you and feel nothing but air.

Forever are my arms reaching out to you and waiting to be grasped.
