Forever A Hurdle Poem by Walterrean Salley

Forever A Hurdle

Life’s Hurdles
Are always there.
Can’t get rid of them.
So many barriers
So many hindrances
One after another
After another.
A mile to go
A hurdle to jump
A mountain to scale
A river to cross.

A day full of them
A week full of them
A life full of them.
For to cross one
Is to face another.
