Forevermore Poem by Go... Higher

Forevermore

Petals dropping to the floor,
What a shame, what a shame.
Burnt up wicks and a shut door,
Without a flame, without a name.

Pursuing beauty in your youth,
Until you trip upon the truth,
Then searching, yearning for a proof
That you are right
You can exist.

It never ends though you grow old;
Slowly, slowly build a mold,
And hope, and dream, and wish for more,
To etch your soul upon the core.
Buy yourself eternity!
Attach yourself to the Tree!
See, oh see, the life it holds,
Watch the Plan as it unfolds.
Then step up to your rightful place,
But first, be now – this time, this space.
For then is there, or it is not,
Based upon this very spot;
What you live, what your out pour,
Blooms and flickers forevermore.
