“Forget me not” still rings my ears
I lived through out with some fear
It was not from girl friend or lover
But from my close friend and dear
He used to carry wagon lorry
With full of load along with worry
He was unable to pull happily for family
Yet he worked hard and very happily
I am one of the fortunate persons
To witness such earthly people to live with reasons
They never complain of hardship
But carry on with feelings and friendship
I was to go on foreign land
For job to carry on and send
Some money for family at home
It was sign of good relief with welcome
Everybody knew it as good luck
Nothing was blocked or struck
I was to move in orderly manner
Everybody advised me as good philosopher
But this friend moved me a lot
He was not poor but had sought
No help at any time from me
Even though I had offered him any time free
He was man of principle
Even though believed in struggle
Today he is no more among us
But I miss him so much with full trust
He impressed me with his nobility
That is biggest gift from almighty
Not rich alone can show generosity
The poor too have capability
I remember him at this hour
When bell rings in ear
Those are from distant religious places
But bring me fresh memory with shine on face
