'Forgiveness' Poem by Kevin Wang

'Forgiveness'

sands of grain draining away
as quick as light hits the blade
it suddenly draw back
as anger binds it away

mistaken yet with truth
these misery figments upon hand
are only forgiven by a slight chance
to say hi once again

putting things behind my back
walking away from the guilt
with that of hanging from my neck
like a knife behind my back

this worry state of yours
is going to bring another flood away
swiping me away
i'd let it go
and forgive you this once

for that of a reason
for that you are the beloved friend of madam lovely
but telling asking that question
is starting to break me down

what to do what to do
so for now
i'll just say farewell
and hope to say hi with a smile once again
