Forgotten Poem by Brad losinglife

Forgotten

Rating: 5.0

Walking through the streets of despair,
tears running down my face,
i look up and see,
nothing,
no one,
not a soul.

Everything destroyed and abandoned,
witnessing death as its true form,
suffering and pain are the only objects in this blazing storm.

No one there to stop me,
whats there to regain with all these holes,
forgotten, in that wretched hurricane of souls.

Why werent you there?
how could you make a promise you couldnt protect?
misery and agony caused this depression,
and now you seal the deal, with the scars you've imprinted.

Though you seemed to care,
i saw it in your eyes,
how could i forget your hurtful stare.

You wanted me to suffer,
you wanted me to feel what you felt,
well i hope your happy,
because im standing where life began and ended,
where i took my first step, down to my last breath.

A glimpse of the darkness?
i doubt it,
youve showed me the depression,
youve made your point,
now leave me to my despair,
like all the others,
who always fail to repair.
