Forgotten Poem by Shelly-Ann Legg

Forgotten

Rating: 5.0

I have forgotten your face and kiss
Your warm embrace I no longer miss
I have forgotten the love we once knew
And the fact that you've found someone new

I have forgotten our favourite song
The nights I cried so long
And just how close we were
Along with the day you chose her

I have forgotten the way you walk
And even the way you talk
I've forgotten all the times we use to play
I have forgotten the things you use to say

I have forgotten your laugh and grin
Your dimples that sit in your chinlo
I have forgotten the love that moved its past
And the thought that we could ever last
