Tears Poem by Shelly-Ann Legg

Tears

Tears often run down my cheeks
That which caused it I'd rather not speak
Tears are for cleansing stress and bring release
Dear God take away this pain please

I hug my tearstained pillow tight
In the middle of the day and night
And when no one is around
I cry with out making a sound

Tears were created by God
I shed do much for a bother I wish I still had
They seem me smile and assume all is well
Buteveryday I enter my very own hell

Time hasn't healed my heartache at all
My lonely heart still call
Time hasn't quieted my fears
I still cry these silent tears
