Cupid struck, it felt like fate
more so than on our first date
then you left the way you came
gone forever? what a shame

here or gone i fall apart
i wish that you would just depart
perhaps if you are gone forever
maybe then i'd hurt never

you used to bring out the best in me
now it's like that part of me died
will you just leave? i beg, i plea
last night i thought of you, then cried

you had me now you've lost me
but will you ever forget me?
our love succeeded about the rest;
a forgotten memory of the past
