Forgotten Room...
In a room that’s left forgotten,
With lights that will not shine,
Sits a man whose heart is broken,
In a corner of his time
Crying his very soul out,
The tears racking his spine
Silence all about me is loud as a scream
I live again, in this nightmarish dream
Trying to see into the mirror
From which no reflection's cast,
Who now stands behind this curtain
Of smoky double glass?
Gaze within the eyes of my soul
But a warning I will say,
Careful for the soul lies deep
So don’t glance away...
Seeing what I think I saw
But did I really see?
All essence of my being's
Locked within this final fantasy door.
Time has beat me down to the ground
My tortured heart can no longer pound
Staring at the mirror, its distorted reflection
Deranged by a dislocated connection

Crying his very soul out, Tears raching his spine Silence is all about me as loud as scream I leave again, nightmarish dream. I plunge deep into the theme and nice images.Reflection of hope in frustration is nicely sketched.I loved it.Thanks poet for sharing.I dare not evaluate.plz read and comment on my new poem I wanna let you go back, not.
