Forgotten Sea Poem by jack green

Have you ever felt cast away a nameless wave on a forgotten sea?
Did you think you could hold on against a never relenting wind?
Do you find yourself caught between what could have been and used to be?
Did you really think you were right, life is sweet until the bitter end.
Call this a veiled attempt to clear the air while i still can.
And did it really take all of these years to finely understand.
The most precious moments pass you by and then their gone.
This life has many paths some are right and some are wrong.
Could this really be as appears could there be more than can be seen.
Or will i wake to find that i am a nameless wave on a forgotten sea.
