Four Silent Tears Poem by Brett Collier

Four Silent Tears

Rating: 4.5

Last night before I drift to sleep,
Tears came storming down my cheek.
The first tear spiraled down my face,
No man could ever take your place.
tornadoes ripped threw my mind,
when I seen you cold and flat lined.
The second tear flooded my vision,
Needed you dad because mom never listened.
The third tear came with no suprise,
When I look in the mirror I see your eyes.
I wish we had more time to spend,
You'll be my guardian angel untill my story ends
As I get older memories fade away,
Forgot your voice, pictures revive your face.
One day hoping to share a beer,
Instead I'm wiping away the 4th silent tear
