Frances Lee Poem by Francis Duggan

Frances Lee

Her children, grand children and great grandchildren a big family
Of the woman who died in her nineties dear kind Frances Lee
A very nice person down to earth and kind
A woman possessed of a beautiful mind
She had lived through two World wars and hard times she did know
But the seeds of good karma in her life she did sow
Her's is a great life story that ought to be told
She remained young at heart 'twas her body grew old
Through her life with dignity she bore every life's cross
The matriarch of her family they grieve at her loss
At family functions and parties none to take her place
In Upwey many will miss her much loved face
One known for her caring nature and generosity
May she now rest in peace kind hearted Frances Lee.
