Where has my freedom gone?
You have caged me in cage
And you have offered butter,
Bread, cherry, tomato and many,
How can I eat and survive?
Do not you see my dry face,
I am breaking in sorrow and agony,
Please, release me soon!
Although I am a rat of forest,
God has granted me rights to live,
I dwell in his garden with full love,
I move hear and there in search of food,
This planet is not made for you only,
Every creature has rights to live,
Please you do not be selfish,
You try to understand my pain!
Although I am not superior like you,
I am a small rat, a soul who wanders,
Full freedom of mine is my rights,
I too offer prayer to God,
Now I am helpless but not defeated,
If God will grant me the power,
I can cut your iron cage into pieces
You take away your costly butter and bread
And please give back my freedom,
Where is the freedom rain?
You should understand my pain!
Will you like to eat butter inside cage?
Oh cloud in heaven, you make rain,
Take away my pain, freedom rain you make,
Let this cage be rusted and broken,
You redeem me from this danger!

A poem with a great message and warning. You cannot cage any being. Each life has its own dignity and right to live. Even if it is a rat. Top stars for this thought provoking poem.

The most terrible things of all creation is CAGE...to keep birds imprisoned, animals restricted. I am sure good sense will prevail some day.
What a beautiful poem dear Kumarmani G! Loved more than my dear Sylvia loves it
