Fresh Fish
On a perfect sunny day
through the open door
of a Chinese fish market
the eye of a sturgeon
seems to meet mine
as one more steak is cut
from its still living body
stark image, well penned. It takes a good observer and an original mind to make a poem from a fish carcass. Thanks for sharing, Ray
