Friend In Need Poem by Matthew Boisjolie

Friend In Need

As if you thought you would break me,
so young and cynical,
that's not your only crime,
but incase you haven't noticed, you gave it all away,
tell me what do you think of yourself now,
that you traded your values to the crowed,
so you can take down the mirror on the wall,
but are you willing to give it up,
you take a lot of medicine,
you really don't need,
drinking at seven and getting doped at 17,
tell me what do you think of yourself now,
that you traded all your honor to the crowed,
to putt a mirror in the front,
of your friends,
but will you say,
ill give it up for you?
Follow your thoughts, but when your heart starts to wonder,
why your friends, traded, your honor for their own,
ask yourself what should i do with me,
to take down the mirror on the wall,
and get ready to ask help when i fall,
when are you going to say,
ill give it up for you?
all the heart ache and all the pain,
can you say, im giving it up for you?
can you admit,
im giving it up for you?
