Friends Poem by M. Tickle

Friends

Rating: 4.3

We all need friends if but to say
Hello and how are you today
A cheerful grin a flashing smile
And life is suddenly worth while

When life seems grey and rather glum
Just confide it to a chum
The clouds will lift and in its place
You trust again the human race

As each new day begins to dawn
There is no need to feel forlorn
Just place your trust in him a above
The one and only source of love

So even though the skies are grey
Your friends will pull you through the day
And joyous gladness fills your soul
With hope eternal for your goal.
