We met when things
Were not what they seemed
You added a joy
That I had never seen

Friends are what we make them
Nothing more than a pal
We laughed like no tomorrow
But you wanted it all

You took what I had to offer
And used it to your gain
You traded my friendship
For nothing but pain

I wanted us as friends
And you wanted more
Can't we trust eachother
And be like before

You were supposed to listen
Just as I had with you
But you listened to others
Now nothing is true
