Did You Ever.....
ever see a cherry tree blossom
ever watch the sunrise
ever savor that first sip of java
or for that matter enjoy a homemade pie?
ever think of when we first met
there is a beginning to all
remember the longing
of us together enjoying the fall?
things felt so natural
like nothing could go wrong
a love like ours
made of friendship was strong
ever walk the fresh fallen dew
ever see the first lily grow
ever feel the early morn sun
ever watch the first fallen snow?
remember when we first met
everything was new
the smiles and the laughter
everything was true
everything seems to last forever
at least until forever ends
but like forever
our love can begin again
That is beautiful. If only my poetry was that nice, my ex might not have left me (LOL)
