Aquaintences all come and go
like the sun that rises and falls.
They know your name and speak real brief
but they dont really know you at all
many people come into our lives all claiming to be friends
on one level this maybe true
but in time comes to an end
then one day when you least expect
an angel falls from the skies
a person whom you've just met
seems to make things seem alright
everytime you think of them
a comforting feeling fills your heart
a feeling like the warm summer sun
that your one and only angel is with you
will never turn their back and run
your one and only angel
knows you better than you think
your angel understands you
and cares no matter what
it doesn't matter what you say or do
that comforting feeling never stops
your angel has a purpose
to be there right by your side
to walk hand in hand with you
and help guide you through your life
with this i pledge to you my friend
my hand is there to hold
i believe that your my angel
sent down from the skies above
it doesn't have to be true love
for a soul mate to be true
i believe a soul mate can be a friend
i think my soul mate is you
my love for you eternal
my heart it beats the truth
our friendship is forever
my angel im always with you too...
