Our love was something you implored for
I would rather have had it ignored though
I tried to feel what you did 
But let's face it - i'm in love with another kid 

There is something, though, that i never understand 
If i didn't want more, why did i beg you to stay by the door?  
We are one, this i can't deny
But having you around, i think it was a feeling of pride.
I guess i just wanted someone by my side.

I took advantage - for this i was wrong 
It gets even worse because i knew it all along
Everytime you finally got over me and moved on, it set you free. 
It was terrible because i never wanted you to be.

I know i sound high 
But trust me, i did try to say good-bye 
We just couldn't let go 
I can't stand it anymore 
It's time that i face it and let you sour the skys
Or else i will never reach paradise
