Frozen Paradise Poem by Ibrar Ahmad Siddiqi

Frozen Paradise

Violent ill feeling hurricane.
Ravaging my mind and soul.
Tearing apart my flora and fauna.
Removing the very heart of my land.
Turnng my life from paradise into the frizen hell its become.
Flowers that were planted seasonally will bear no more.
The damage caused is permanent freezing my core.
Love was one of the crop that was regularly harvested.
But continous disasters have left me barren.
Lives that I've supported have come to an end.
I lie here surrounded by warm seas covered in permafreeze.
Where no amount of love or kindness,
couldn't arouse any emotion for those who ravaged me.
