Frustrated Poem by Jade lee

Frustrated

life was wonderful
life was meaningful
life was satisfied
until one falls out of love and the other lingers

refuse to accept that it was broken
refused to accept that you are no longer desired
refused to accept that you gave so much and got so little in return
refused to accept that life isn't always fair
again and again you refused to let go till you get a closure

anger and frustration grows within you
like an addiction it took over you
but defeated even before you begin the fight to take control

annoyed by your endless questioning of why
insulted by your unreasonable accusations
frustrated by your refusal to accept the truth
heart broken when you broke down and became weak
saddened when I no longer want to try to make it work

Your words cuts like a double sided knife
cutting deep into you and into me
your anger took over your pride
your pride took over you mind
your mind took over your pain
and your pain took over you

I watched, I cried, I tried and I learned
once it's broken, it's broken
nothing is made to last forever and
forever is nolonger a dream I desired

let go for there is no reasons to continue
let go for there is no desire to be met
let go for things have changed
let go and accept the truth
let go and make room for a new beginning
move on and mark this as a chapter of your soul searching journey

I have a poem with similar title but of different genre. Yours is touching because it can relate to everyones experience.
