Ganesa 1 - Jai Jai Sri Ganesa

Rating: 4.2

Jai Jai Sri Ganesa!
I bow down with devotion!
With folded hands - ‘Anjali'
I sing with adoration for You!

Sri Ganesvara!
Darling God of the millions of devotees,
Worshipped with pomp, grandeur,
Decorations, celebrations and festivals!

Sri Gajanana!
A face that can charm anyone,
Attractive countenance,
Adorable and beautiful!

Sri Gajakarna!
Elephant ears so colossal,
Exceptional ability to decipher, hear,
Every sound vibration of this world!

Sri Gajadanta!
Elephant tusk curved,
A symbol of supreme majesty,
Wielding power and strength!

Sri Ganapati!
Lord of the ‘Bhoota Ganas',
The commander of a powerful army
Ever alert and ready to fight evil!

Sri Ghatakumbha!
A large pot belly,
A sign of good luck that can hold and relish,
All food, fruits, sweets and savouries!

Sri Gauri Priya!
Favourite son of Mother Gauri,
Eldest son of Siva Parvati,
Elder brother of Kartikeya!

Sri Gunadhyaya!
Endowed with wonderful attributes
Endearing qualities,
Epitome of knowledge and wisdom!

Jai Jai Sri Ganesa!
I bow down with devotion!
With folded hands ‘Anjali',
I sing with adoration for You!
